Who We Are
Hi, Michael G. Glab and Peter Ajemian here. Big Mike and AJ. Big Mike’s waiting for the Apocalypse or a World Series in Wrigley Field, whichever comes first. AJ’s hoping hell freezes over once again.
Big Mike is 53 years old and has been a professional writer since 1983. Primarily a journalist, writing for the Chicago Reader, New City, Chicago Magazine, and countless other publications, he keeps his hand in other literary forms. He’s co-written a screenplay entitled The Made Man with the noted Frisbee champ, window washer, and Hollywood sojourner, Sid Feldman. From ‘98 through 2001, he wrote short fiction as a member of The Ever-So-Secret Order of the Lampreys, a group which you’re not supposed to know about although they did have an exhibit at the Hyde Park Art Center, so they’re hypocrites as well as parasites.
AJ will soon be 54. He started out as a newspaper reporter in 1979. He worked at two dailies, including the Lowell Sun in MA., and a weekly. He’s worked at several nonprofit organizations, primarily managing media relations, in addition to three stints in state government. He has authored a handful of lengthy research reports, including two investigative pieces for Public Citizen, a Ralph Nader organization, and two for the McCormack Institute, a public policy think tank in Boston. He is a longtime political junkie and analyst of the media’s coverage of politics.

Thanks – Big Mike and AJ.
